MOUNTAIN PARK RETREAT HOLIDAY RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
* What you will need to bring with you
Please remember to bring your own linen, including sheets, pillow slips, towels,
garbage bags and toilet paper. We supply mattress covers, quilts, pillows, tablecloths
and tea-towels.
Occupancy Number
The house sleeps 10 people and consists of 3 queen size beds, 1 double bed, 2 single beds
and a fold out futon. The property is unable to cater for more than 10 people at one time
and we advise that tents, campervans or caravans cannot be accommodated on the property.
This number must not be exceeded at any time and will be strictly enforced. This means no
additional guests that are not part of your booking party. You will be asked to leave
immediately if you bring in any extra guests. Additional charges will also be deducted out
of your bond. The Management reserves the right to know whom is in the house and at
the property at all times.
Animals/Pets
No animals or pets are allowed on the premises at all. This includes the inside and outside of the
property. There are baits around the property to control the dingo and fox populations and
protect livestock. These baits are poisonous and not safe for domestic animals.
Recreational Vehicles
To protect Mountain Park Retreat's unique environment, no recreational vehicles are to be
used on the property. This includes all motor bikes, trail bikes, beach buggies and 4 wheel
drives. Personal vehicles only are permitted on the main driveway and parking areas around
the house. Parking of caravans or pitching of tents
is strictly prohibited.
No Fires
Fires are not to be lit inside or outside the house. You must observe all fire ban rules
enforced by the shire of Toodyay.
Dam
All children must be accompanied by an adult at ALL TIMES and not to be left unattended in
or around the dam. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to ensure that children are supervised at all times.
Facilities
Mountain Park Retreat is fully self contained and includes an Indoor Spa, Dishwasher, Microwave,
Fridge/Freezer, Washing Machine, Iron, 2 Televisions, DVD and VHS.
Water Conservation
All water on the property is from the 2 rainwater tanks. Please be very vigilant with your
water use. We have no main water supplies. Please ensure that you conserve water as much
as possible, and make all children aware not to run taps excessively.
Damage
Any damage to the building, furniture, floor coverings or equipment will be charged to the tenant.
Please do not attempt to repair any damages yourself. Please advise the manager or owner whom
will organise repairs. You will be charged for repairs and/or replacement of damaged or missing
items.
Cleaning
For the convenience of others please leave this property as you found it, neat and tidy. Cleaning
fees WILL be charged if the house, outside areas and barbeque are not left in the original condition
as on your arrival and requires extra cleaning. Please leave the barbeque clean and ready for use.
Rubbish
To be placed in bin provided (please use bin liners and wrap all food scraps) then transfer to
green bin outside. At the end of the stay if the bin is full - any excessive rubbish or bottles
and cans, must be taken with you.
Spa
The spa bath in the main ensuite bathroom upstairs is for personal use only. Please supervise
children and the running of the taps and filling the spa AT ALL TIMES, to avoid overflow water
onto the carpet and ceiling below. Any water damage to carpets or ceilings will be charged
to the tenant.
Balconies
The upper level balconies are to be used for light use only. For safety reasons no parties or
large gatherings, or unruly behaviour. The balconies are for the use of house occupants only.
Behaviour
Tenants are to occupy the premises in a manner which will not cause offence to or complaint by the
neighbouring residents. The noise does carry through the valley and hills. Please after 11pm keep
noise to a minimum especially outside on the balconies. No smoking inside the home.
Departures
Please leave keys where instructed. All doors and windows must be left locked and all lights and
appliances switched off. If you are leaving on a day other than that specified please contact the
owner so that keys can be collected early.
Maintenance and Service Problems
Service, Electrical, Plumbing or breakages and other problems are to be reported immediately to
the caretaker or owner for attention.
